Veteran director of Bollywood – Mahesh Bhatt’s younger daughter Alia Bhatt is all set to star in the remake of super duper hit romantic love story of 90’s ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi‘. Ranbir Kapoor is expected to star opposite her.

It was a wish of her elder sister Pooja Bhatt that the role to be given to Alia only as she will be suited most in this character of young girl of 18. According to Pooja only Alia will be fit to play this character in the remake of the flick. In the original movie Amir Khan was hero opposite Pooja Bhatt. The original movie was released in 1991 and Gulshan Kumar was a producer. Along with Pooja Bhatt in the lead female role and Amir as her hero, it also featured Anupam Kher in a special role of heroin’s father. It will be interesting to see if Bhatt camp turns towards Anupam Kher again to play the same roll.
